"Paracetamol" for Americans reading this, is tylenol (acetaminophin); drove me nuts when I did some student rotations in England (Kent & Canterbury Hospitals; Thanet Health District).
I find slippery elm tea really helps the throat if spiced w/a little honey & a squeeze of fresh lime. Something w/dextromethorphan can help supress the cough & oxymetazoline, as a nasal spray decongestant, generally doesn't keep me awake the way systemic (oral) decongestants might.
Otherwise good ol' rest & TOT (Tincture Of Time) does the trick
Cheers, BK (recovering from A-Sydney flu, in spite of having been vaccinated for it)
